Sepanjang berpraktikum, kami didedahkan dengan segala pengalaman dan cara-cara team csi melakukkan siasatan jenayah. Selain itu, kami juga berpeluang untuk mengikuti team csi pergi ke tempat jenayah. Di sana, kami akan didedahkan cara betul untuk menguruskan tempat jenayah dan mengumpul bahan bukti secara praktikal. Jika bernasib baik, kami turut diberi peluang untuk melakukannya seperti mencari dan mengumpul fingerprint.
Setiap dua hari dalam seminggu- Isnin & Khamis, kami akan dihantar ke jabatan kimia utk belajar subjek Explosive & Ballistic serta mengetahui lebih lanjut bagaimana sesuatu bahan bukti yang diserahkan oleh team csi untuk dianalisis oleh ahli kmia.
Sepanjang kami berkursus di maktab pdrm, kami berada di bawah penjagaan ibu angkat yang sangat sangat supporting dan baik - DSP Mah Chui Ying & Puan Norlida. Mereka menjaga kami dengan baik dan tak jemu melayan kerenah kami yang gila-gila. Mereka juga semangat mengaturkan pelbagai lawatan buat kami. Namu setiap lawatan banyak membuka minda kami sebagai pelajar forensik. Contohnya lawatan ke Kilang Peluru SME di Batu Arang, Selangor. Masing-masing tak pernah terlintas terdapat kilang peluru di Malaysia dan kami juga mempunyai peluang untuk bekerja di situ.
Antara aktiviti yang dilakukan kami sepanjang kursus ini:
- Melawat IPD Putrajaya & Pengkalan Marin, Putrajaya
- Melawat Penjara Kajang
- Melawat dan beraktiviti bersama gajah & haiwan-haiwan di Pusat Konservasi Gajah, Institut Bio & Deerlands.
- Melawat PGA dan mendengar taklimat tentang PGA (Pasukan Gerakan Am).
- Menghadiri National Conference Forensic Science (NCFS)
- Melakukan test firing dengan menggunakan revolver dan semi-autogun untuk 40 biji peluru
- Melawat Kompleks Mahkamah Kuala Lumpur
- Trial Mock Court
